HURDS Participates in West Africa Regional Consultation

Human Rights and Development Services (HURDS) is pleased to announce the participation of its Executive Director, Ms. Eva Ankrah, in the West Africa CSO and Expert Consultation. The event convened youth, women, civil society organizations, and key stakeholders from across the West African region to address pressing issues in peacebuilding and justice.

The consultation focused on:

• Addressing systemic gender inequalities

• Unpacking post-conflict masculinities

• Strengthening transitional justice (TJ) processes

Ms. Ankrah contributed to discussions aimed at shaping key policy inputs for the development of a Guidance Note to accompany the African Union Transitional Justice Policy (AUTJP). This effort marks a significant step toward advancing inclusive, gender-sensitive justice processes across the region.
