GCS Forum 2025

With developmental partners reducing funding and shifting priorities, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) are being called upon to rethink storytelling approaches and diversify sources of support. In this context, local philanthropy is emerging as a critical driver of sustainable change.

Human Rights and Development Services (HURDS) was proud to participate in the 2025 Ghana CSOs Forum, an important platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration among civil society actors. The forum provided valuable insights and practical strategies for broadening resource mobilization efforts, strengthening partnerships, and fostering community-driven support systems.

Following the event, HURDS is re-energized and committed to leveraging local resources and grassroots networks to advance its mission of promoting gender justice, human rights, and inclusive development.
